Sjonfällets

Today we took off right after coffee and headed to the recommended Sonfjällscampen. It's truly an amazing place, with a bathing jetty, boat dock, top-notch sanitary facilities, including a washing machine and even a sauna. Thanks Sascha and Gabi!

Right after setting up, I went on an exploration tour with my mountain bike, heading towards the entrance of the nearby Sonfjällets National Park, known as a retreat for bears. I have to admit, I felt a bit uneasy being all alone, just me and the bears. I was hoping they would be as shy as the reports say.

In the end, I cycled almost up to the edge of the last snow and then went down again very quickly with a great view.

Then came the issue with the boat. Originally, we wanted to explore the area by boat, but... Last time everything worked perfectly fine (it took ages until all the air was out), but now there is a hole in the bottom part. Even the neighbor's repair kit didn't bring the desired success, so the boat tour was canceled, sniff.

There was still one success, though - successful laundry washing and drying. And Della also had another success, she beat me at backgammon, rematch is coming!
