The beautiful parish church is dedicated to Our Lady of the Annunciation; it dates back to the 16th century and is in the Mudejar-Andalusian style. There is also the Hermitage of the Holy Doctors, where the two images of the patrons of Cortes de Baza, the Holy Doctors San Cosme and San Damián, rest. The patronal festivities of Cortes de Baza (known as Feria y Fiestas), in honor of its patrons, the Holy Doctors San Cosme and San Damián, are celebrated at the end of August; interestingly, the festivities take place at the end of August, but the Solemn Procession in honor of the Holy Doctors is held separately in September.
