Naoi: Seven months in Ireland

Pubblicato: 05.04.2021

hey everyone,

I have now been in Ireland for seven months. And it really doesn't feel like it's been this long. Especially since there hasn't been a lot going on lately.

I'm just going to put all that has happened into one text again.

the last few weeks

We're still very much in lockdown meaning other than online school and my regular walks to get some snacks there isn't anything going on. Online School has been like usual. We get lots to do and most of it just isn't any fun but it keeps ypu busy. So I won't complain.

At the start of this months I got to meet the new exchange students which was nice. It's a bit sad that we can't do a lot together.

Other than doing work for school I have spent a lot of time trying to get creative again. Therefore my guitar has been by my side for most of the time as well as quite a few books.

Again, as last month, Zooms and Video Calls have been my best friends. Because I spent a lot of my time calling friends and family to have someone to talk to.

In the last week I actually got to meet some of them because the weather has been rather good. It's starting to feel a lot like spring. I'm hoping the weather will continue to get better so we will be able to meet outside a bit more often.

We celebrated easter this weekend which was a bit of a highlight I suppose.
Easter was spent like I'm used to it being spent, with family. We also had quite a big dinner which was nice but other than that it wasn't too exciting. However I did get some chocolate eggs which made me happy.

in conclusion

There still isn't a lot happening at the moment but it seems like it will get better. It's now just a week until I will be able to go back to school. And even though I don't really want to, at least then I'll be able to see everyone again.

It's not that long anymore until I'll have to go back home and that makes me a bit sad. But even though it's just over a month that is left, it's still enough time to make some memories.
