Following our travel motto of the unknown paths, on our today's day we leave all the grand tourist attractions of Tuscany on the left and move from Bolsena through small roads to Aquapendente and through the beautiful Orca Valley to Piena. Que bello! After that, we go to Arezzo, but it's too busy for us.
So quickly back out and through lonely areas towards Bibbiena. From there we roll straight uphill through the Badia Prataglia State Reserve Nature Park over the Passo dei Mandroli. At around 1000m above sea level, pleasant temperatures prevail. Then downhill again to Bagno di Romagna. A small dreamy resort with a few small hotels on the edge of the old town. That's enough for today. Just hanging out, quenching thirst, and taking a nap.
