For 3 days we went to the bush camp in the national park. First of all, we bought enough supplies to last the 3 days.
After a cozy first day, we had a delicious BBQ in the evening and then went to the tent. On the 2nd day, we went canoeing. The goal was Lake Cootharaba. After a short break at the 'rope swing', we went to Boreen Point, where the second oldest pub in Queensland is located. After paddling for 8 km, a refreshing break was urgently needed.
The way back was very exhausting in the midday heat, and after paddling for 16 km, I was quite exhausted.
On the next day, we went by canoe to Lake Cooroibah. We reached it after only 2 km. From there, we had to push as the lake was only 10-50 cm deep. A big challenge because there were stingrays everywhere. After a picnic, we paddled/pushed our canoe back, and two nice fishermen pulled us a little further halfway.
On the last day, we drove back to beautiful Noosa.
