Today is day 3 of the trip and it was quite wet compared to the previous days.
We set off early and actually planned to stop in Ghent. Done, even a parking space for Palumbi was found, then suddenly the navigation said that we should check if our car has the necessary sticker for the city's environmental zone.
We simply didn't expect that, so we stopped and checked everything with the vehicle registration certificate, and it turns out that it's so complicated that we should have done that days before. So Ghent is not for the spontaneous. So we continued on to France without a visit, where the wind became stronger.
Currently, there are gusts of wind of about 80 km/h here, not so pleasant when towing, although the highways in Belgium are comparably empty and good for driving.
The next surprise awaited us right behind the French border, because at Dunkirk the car said 'check tire pressure, pressure loss front left!'
We checked, didn't see anything at first, and at the campsite in Oye Plage we realized that the tire has a screw in the tread. BUT the nice lady from Camping du Casino had a tip for us right away, so the tire is now patched up and ready to go again. The Peugeot workshop in Gravelines was really great.
After shopping, I really wanted baguette and tarama, we're doing fine now!
Now we're snuggling in the caravan, hanging up the wet clothes to dry, and Christian is getting to try his whisky! Cheers!
