Palomino + Tayrona I

After a long night, we strolled comfortably into the day, enjoying hostel breakfast and completing the last purchases before embarking on the bus ride to the entrance of the Tyrona National Park in Zaino. As often, our bus driver was the fastest on the road. Insurance and entry fees to the park were paid, a small shuttle bus was taken, and soon we were on the hiking trail that led us through the jungle for two hours. On the path, we crossed paths with a family of monkeys and numerous insects and small reptiles. After about 2 hours, we arrived at our campsite and were able to exchange our tent spot for a hammock. Despite the clouds, we watched the sunset with a new acquaintance and were able to tame the waves with our swimming skills. For lunch, we had fish, and in the evening, we treated ourselves to fries and a burger. Unfortunately, during a little mishap, our good mosquito spray was lost.
