From Burgstemmen/Nordstemmen, we headed directly towards the Hanover area, initially still over land, then increasingly into the urban area.
Unfortunately, the signage of the trails was not consistently good, so we didn't always find the planned route. (e.g. Alte Leine near Pattensen) In addition, we decided to ride southeast of Hanover, so we navigated a lot according to Google, where bike paths are often calculated on roads. That means we often had to stop to look again...
The weather and landscape were overall good, but there were still a few hills. (Forget about Hanover being flat!) What is also missing a lot are signs with long-distance information, i.e. those that go further than just the next town.
Later on, we met a fit older e-biker who accompanied us for a while after we asked about Celle and described the route super well. That really helped a lot and was a real gift!
Celle is a pretty town with lots of old half-timbered houses, a very nice town!
