Botanical Garden - Kirstenbosch

The botanical garden in Kirstenbosch is not very big, but it is beautiful. According to residents, it is even among the top five most beautiful gardens in the world. Apparently even before the botanical garden in Sydney, although we liked it a little better. But they're both our favourites.

Although the weather wasn't the best for a stroll through the botanical gardens, we still enjoyed seeing the plants as they begin to bloom in spring.

We were even lucky enough to see two young, wild owls cuddling. In the garden itself we then enjoyed a good South African breakfast in the café before heading back to the capital.
