Bungy Jump in Queenstown 🤪

We actually just wanted to watch the crazy ones jumping down. But with every additional jump (in the high season 300 a day, that means someone is jumping down every few minutes 😳😅 - each jump costs €120, you can calculate the revenue) we celebrated it more and more to jump ourselves. My mom was standing next to me and threatened not to talk to me anymore if I did it. 😄 'Sorry mom, but New Zealand is a once in a lifetime opportunity' - in the next moment we were already at the cashier.

Emilia was initially excited, but when we stood on the platform up top, she suddenly felt different. But there was no turning back, because we wouldn't get a cent back, so we simply had to jump. I don't think I was really aware of what I was getting myself into.. as these thoughts went through my head, the guy behind us started counting down from 5 and suddenly the ground was gone.

The free fall was not too bad, because the jump itself was the worst and it took all our courage. During the fall, Emilia had her eyes closed and I drowned out everything with my loud scream - it was pure adrenaline. Absolutely need to do it again. 😍
