You probably know the question: Is the glass half full or half empty? Personally, I prefer half full, as there is still capacity for more. It’s certainly a statement of an optimist, and that's what I am, with everything that comes with it.
Today, strong winds were forecasted at times, but they came from the west, which is mostly advantageous for me. Perhaps that also contributed to my completion of an especially long stage today; the longest of the entire tour. 😊
However, I was more preoccupied with the question of what to do tomorrow, as heavy rain is forecast. The first answer was: to take a rest day. It would be the first break on the entire route from Girona back home. However, the hotel prices shocked me. Only after a long search did I find an affordable Airbnb, which I booked during the trip today.
This also resulted in a new route. Still, I didn’t want to miss Yverdon and Lake Neuchâtel, which made the overall distance much longer than originally thought. The weather today was ideal for such a tour, although it was quite sporty despite the eBike.
During this ride, I often crossed paths with the route I took two and a half years ago on my hike around Lake Geneva. You can find that tour here: vakantio.de/genfersee-wanderung
This awakened my longing for significant athletic activities. Therefore, I did my Nordland tour and this year the Iberian tour. Now I have nearly completed this one as well and have spent more than 15,000 kilometers on my beautiful eBike, filled with many adventures.
A heartfelt thank you to my dear wife Brigitte, who has always motivated and supported me.

This sparked my desire for great sporting activities. That is why I did my Nordland tour and the Iberian tour this year. I will also soon finish this one, and I have already covered over 15,000 kilometers filled with many adventures on my beautiful eBike.
