Winter Night Market 29.08.2018

As it is currently winter in Australia, there is of course a winter market. In Melbourne, this took place every Wednesday evening. When we were at the market, it was the last Wednesday on which it was held, as the official start of spring was just a few days away. For this reason, it was unfortunately very crowded at the market and it was difficult to move around to see each stand. The market mainly offered food and drinks for sale, but with a large and varied selection. There was even mulled wine.

But it was by no means comparable to German Christmas markets, which are of course much more beautiful.

After we had seen everything, we got ourselves an ice cream sundae and then made our way home.

Unfortunately, we accidentally took the tram in the wrong direction, so the journey home took a bit longer, but eventually we made it home safely.
