Open-air museum in Kommern

We are so educated when we return from this holiday camp.

We have travelled to distant countries, returned to the past, and seen what it looked like in our region, the Eifel, the adjacent Westerwald and Bergisches Land, more than 100 years ago.

We have seen the houses and workplaces where people lived and worked, how they kept their pets, cultivated their gardens, and where and how they danced, played, celebrated, and laughed.

The great thing was that we could go everywhere!

In addition, there was a very nice, educated gentleman from the museum who answered all our questions.

But from all the travelling, we are really getting annoyed, so tomorrow we will take a break and stay at home.
