"King of the road" - Roger Miller

Good morning from Natchez 😊

Yesterday we finally set off with the rental car. We weren't expecting an almost brand new Nissan SUV, but yes, it's fine 😊

We take the highway from Nola via Baton Rouge to Natchez. In between we make a mandatory visit to Walmart and a tour of the Oak Alley Plantation (a former sugar beet plantation). And then we drive straight into a storm front... there has been a thunderstorm in Natchez for over 12 hours now, with endless rain all night long. But whatever, we make the best of it.
