Rainy Day & Cloud Forest

We slept in again because we set the alarm clock wrong. (Somehow we just can't grasp the concept of time here :D) But it wasn't a big deal because it was pouring rain outside! So we had a relaxed breakfast and got ready. It still hadn't stopped raining, but we thought if we put on our rain jackets we would be fine. However, we got drenched just trying to cross the street. :D So we went back to the apartment and waited for the rain to stop. When it finally did, we decided to visit the Cloud Forest in the Gardens by the Bay. The Cloud Forest is a 35-meter high mountain that recreates the climate of 2.5% of rainforests around the world. Inside the glass dome, there are many different and rare plants and flowers, as well as a waterfall. Unlike outside, it was pleasantly cool in the Cloud Forest.

Luckily, it didn't rain for the rest of the evening and we were able to watch the amazing Christmas light show in the Gardens by the Bay. Of course, to no one's surprise, Christmas songs were playing one after another during the show! :D
