After breakfast and packing up our camp in the car, we continued 155km to Coral Bay. Coral Bay is the beginning of the Ningaloo Reef and everyone raves about it. In Coral Bay, we had the choice between two caravan parks. Unfortunately, they are only after the money of tourists. On the campground, you are surrounded by your neighbors and have no privacy. The showers/toilets were also not appealing, and there is only saltwater from the tap everywhere (which is rather gross for showering and brushing your teeth).
We spent the afternoon at the beach, unfortunately, it was full of tourists (way too many Germans and Swiss). Later on, we mostly saw groups of intoxicated people parading through the streets. Nonetheless, we enjoyed the beautiful sunset.
One night in Coral Bay was enough for us, and we set off 240km to Carnarvon. We are really glad we spent so long in Exmouth.
