We had planned to watch the sunrise today. Bastian woke us up around 6 o'clock. Anna and I struggled to get out of bed and made our way to the beach.
We enjoyed the sunrise with a cup of tea or coffee.
Afterwards, it was time to pack our bags again. After breakfast, we left the peninsula on the first boat.
Our guide Dola was already waiting for us on the mainland. We headed towards Candidasa. After 3.5 hours, we reached our first stop - the temple. In humid 28 degrees, we climbed the steps to the first temple and took photos. To strengthen ourselves, we had a few mini bananas and cold drinks.
We continued our journey to the Tirta Gangga Water Palace. Here too, there was holy water in which you could bathe and a pond with many Koi fish. Since it was already after 3 pm, we were all hungry. The small restaurant in front of the temple entrance was just right for us. We expected tourist prices and were therefore happy that this was not the case. For 11€, we had 3 hot dishes, 2 sandwiches, and 8 drinks.
We continued to Rumah Pohon. These are treehouses or observation platforms high up in the treetops. As I was told, they offer a fantastic view.
The last point on our list was the Ujung Water Palace. Another beautiful palace.
Finally arriving at the Sea Breeze Hotel in Candidasa, we checked into our rooms and headed to the infinity pool.
We had dinner at the hotel's own restaurant - after a tiring day, no one wanted to walk far.
