After our stay in Komatipoort (from Thursday to Friday) we drove towards Swaziland (now called 'Eswatini'). After an unusual procedure at the border crossing, where we had to exit South Africa and have our passports stamped, and then drive to Eswatini to get a visa for transit, we finally hit the roads of Eswatini.
Apparently, the new name also comes with new roads. In Africa, road repairs are done as a whole, so a part of the route (about 40 km 😭) was a gravel road...
After crossing the border again, we quickly arrived in St. Lucia. The very touristy town of St. Lucia offers a beautiful beach and plenty of things to experience.
