Verso la Svezia!

Slowly but surely, we are heading back home. In a week we will be back home.

On the way to today’s overnight stay in Kampersvik, we stopped at a fortress called Fredriksten Festning in Halden (Norway). From the ramparts, one could overlook the entire city. Steffen had fun reading questions from an adventure path in a 'spooky' voice. Hilariously, he was terrified by a tape recording of ghostly rattling in one of the ammunition chambers. It was also a bit adventurous to navigate the steps and hills of the fortress complex with a stroller. We had a wonderful day there and laughed a lot together.

Once we arrived at our parking spot, we went for a walk again and admired the summer houses of the Swedes. At the top of a hill, a new one was being built - it had the best view over the sea.
