San Francisco (i)

We started the day with a quick breakfast nearby our apartment, then we took the train directly into the city. Upon arriving in San Francisco, we were greeted by an autumn day but sunny. We immediately headed towards Pier 39 to see the sea lions lounging in the sun. The sight was so beautiful, they were lazy but happy to soak up the sun. For a moment, I even managed to identify with these animals ;) ! After a while, we took photos from a nearby dock of Alcatraz Island and the Golden Gate Bridge. To cool off, we sipped on an iced tea and suddenly found ourselves surrounded by souvenir shops. As we moved on, we arrived in the 'hilly' neighborhood where the Victorian-style houses overlook the steep streets, just like in Hollywood movies. Finally, we reached Lombard Street, the most winding street in the world. Thus, so pictorially we concluded our splendid day and returned home.
