Today we got up extra early to go on a whale watching tour. With a small boat and about 10 other early risers, we sailed out into the bay of San Francisco. We didn't have to wait long until our captain spotted the first humpback whale. It surfaced directly under the Golden Gate Bridge. From then on, we just stood at the railing, keeping an eye out, and suddenly a whole pod of humpback whales appeared. We didn't know where to look first... simply incredible. The camera didn't stop ;-) Our selection of pictures is only a fraction of it. We have about 1000 other photos too :D
