12.01.2018 – Parco Nazionale Cahuita

Whole Costa Rica is almost entirely made up of national parks. Many of them are located directly by the sea, including Cahuita on the Caribbean.

No entrance fee is charged here, only voluntary donations are collected, which are used for maintenance.

Again, there were several kilometers to walk, including a river crossing and a bite from a red giant ant (a few days earlier we were spared a scorpion bite in the room, thankfully...) and animals...animals...animals...

Ending the day at the ever-popular beach lounging and having a very good dinner at a restaurant called Nena, now you understand why we haven't heard so much from her lately : - )
