Today I went to the jungle in Krabi with a small group. We visited the Buddhist Tiger Cave Temple, hot springs and the crystal-clear water of the Emerald Pool, also known as Sa Morakot, by the locals. The freshwater pool gets its green color from the minerals from the surrounding limestone hills. All of this along a tropical rainforest trail. Of course, I couldn't resist and took a swim in the beautiful freshwater pool, just like many other visitors. Unfortunately, the crowdedness took away from the rainforest experience. However, it was still an impressive experience in the middle of nature, in the jungle of Krabi. In the end, I had the opportunity to hike up the Tiger Cave Temple mountain. I couldn't do it on my first attempt 2 days ago due to darkness, but today the weather didn't allow it either. It started storming heavily, so we had to retreat to the car. Nevertheless, it was a truly successful trip. Tomorrow, I will continue with a boat tour to 4 different islands. I will share more in my next report.
