10.06.2018 - finally it's happening

Finally, the time has come. In the morning, we will take the train to Ulm and Augsburg, and then to Munich airport. When we arrived there and because we were early, we had a nice wheat beer first and then checked in our suitcases. Unfortunately, the flight was delayed for 1 hour due to a thunderstorm. But overall, the flight was okay - we had enough space because we booked economy class but invested a few extra euros for more legroom. It's really recommended for such a long journey. Once we arrived in Vancouver, we went through the 'passport control' first - well, that's mostly done by computers nowadays. Then we went to the baggage claim and through customs ... hooray Canada, we're here 🇨🇦 My cousin Steve and his girlfriend were already waiting for us - it's really nice and convenient to have relatives here 👍 then we had to pick up the rental car and go to Steve's house. We chatted a bit and then went to bed tired and exhausted 😩
