Czech rain at night but sun in the morning, that's what many gardeners wish for. After passing the construction bridge over Lake Thaya, we also knew what the drumming noises that woke us up at night were about. Anyway. From Bratislava, our rain suits were put to use and that didn't change at the Hungarian border either. The only curvy section of Hungary was ruined by trucks, obediently driving behind the Hungarians and the mentioned rain. Doesn't matter. What can we say, Lake Balaton spread out in front of us in perfect sunshine - okay, Hungary has to score somehow. Wild camping seems impossible here - we'll postpone that to Romania. Well, at least a campground for locals has to do - small but cute with a direct beach. Of course, we take advantage of that right away, saves the shower. The Hungarians are reserved but friendly - somehow remind us of people from Mecklenburg.
jó éjt -Good night
