Explore Hong Kong on 22.02.

Today, a half-day guided city tour of Hong Kong was on the program. The weather is even worse than yesterday: thick fog and drizzle. Unfortunately, we couldn't admire the impressive skyline again. First, we visited one of the city beaches on Hong Kong Island. There is also a Buddhist temple where you can collect all kinds of blessings for health, long life (we managed to earn 6 additional days) and wealth. The program included a short boat tour of the old harbor. Of course, 'The Peak' couldn't be missed, but there was only thick fog there.

In the afternoon, we set off on foot to visit the famous 'Ladies Market'. We had already visited the other 'must-have street markets' yesterday - partly unconsciously. Here, and in China, it is currently Lunar New Year holidays. The streets are bustling with people. We are no longer used to that from the countryside...

Tomorrow afternoon we will fly to Perth. The next status update will be from Australia.
