Stage 2: Bologna-Brindisi

After a really nice chat at the breakfast table with my "host father" Anton, I still have some time until noon to visit Bologna. A must-see is of course the two towers, the "due torre".

The towers date back to the twelfth century and are approximately 97 meters high, which means 700 steps upwards!

But then of course an breathtaking view of Bologna!

And a bit of wind!

Then it's time: I can get on the train to Brindisi.

First class this time, full of pomp! But unfortunately I can't see anything...

But I can move later!

However, the beaches are still quite empty as it is very cold and windy. Southern Italy in May!

This is my route...I have never been this far south on the Italian boot!

Then I arrive in Brindisi. It has already become quite late. A Marilyn Monroe room awaits me!

With a spa in old pink! Cool!!
