Today we started again with feeding the calves and breakfast. Since all four huts had to be cleaned, I was busy for quite a while.
Since Johanna, Ingveldur's youngest daughter, had her birthday today, there was a chocolate cake with ice cream and a birthday song, which I naturally couldn't sing along to. Some small balloons were scattered on the table and someone, I think it was Inveldur, then told in Icelandic that it was difficult to blow them up. After that, Stani, Isabell, Inveldur's other daughter, and a friend, I think it was the guy who lives a little behind the farm with his wife and daughter in a caravan, wanted to try it out, as it couldn't be that difficult. I didn't try it myself, but the friend turned completely red, Isabell didn't manage it at all, and only Stani managed to do it after a few tries.
For dinner we had wraps, since the two daughters were working again.
Afterwards, I fed the calves and brought the horses back to their normal pasture.
In the evening, I took a shower and hung up the first load of laundry in the hope that I won't have to buy new clothes tomorrow. Then I made myself comfortable in the living room with a cup of tea and my laptop and wrote.
See you later
