Day 74: Punta del Diablo

Two days ago we took the ferry from Buenos Aires, Argentina to Colonia del Sacramento, Uruguay. We spent the night in a unfortunately very overpriced hostel and then early in the morning took a bus through Montevideo to Punta del Diablo. The first impression of the hostel was very good, we feel comfortable. Today we finally went to the beach again. There are some dogs living in the hostel. One of them, a stray dog named Sol, seemed to be very fond of us. She already followed us to the supermarket and back to the hostel last night. And today again. She accompanied us for a whole 3 hours on our walk on the beach. Punta del Diablo is very beautiful and very quiet. There is only one paved road, a lot of nature, huge beaches and some small colorful houses. After all the big cities in the last few weeks, the seclusion and peace is really good again.
