Day 23: Grandmother Ursula

After breakfast, we went to Diadema with Carlos and Sandra to visit Carlos' mother, Ursula. Ursula is a very nice and impressive woman who has a lot to tell at her 90 years of age. She was born in Brazil, spent part of her childhood in Germany, and lives in Eldorado, a small neighborhood in Diadema near São Paulo. After a lunch together at the restaurant, we spent the rest of the Sunday on her beautiful and large property. There, we enjoyed the sun by the pool with Carlos' family until it slowly got dark and we drove back home. A perfect Sunday!
