Day 5 (2023) from Dubai to Abu Dhabi

Day 5

Today is fortunately another day to sleep in. Unexpectedly, we don't have to check out of the hotel until 12 o'clock instead of the expected 10 o'clock. Great, that means a relaxed breakfast and packing.

We are at breakfast at 9:45 and like yesterday, there is no place available, only outside in the shade. Despite the shade, it's quite warm.

We check out at 12 o'clock and head towards Abu Dhabi. From today onwards, we will be staying with the family in Abu Dhabi, so we make a detour to Yas Mall to get some supplies for the next few days at Carrefour.

We spend the rest of the afternoon chilling with the family in the garden or on the terrace. It is still pleasant to sit outside as it is not yet above 30 degrees in the afternoon.

In the evening, we have dinner at KISHI, a Japanese & Thai restaurant in Al Forsan. It's nice to be back in our '2nd home' again.
