Tag 8 - Jiji

A bike tour in wonderful weather with delightful encounters

Today, I rode around the area on my bicycle.

The gallery bridge stands completely without screws or nails.

The waterfall was dry, but chunks of earth were being thrown down from above by an excavator.

Along the way, I met a very nice group of cyclists. While the men in the group were mostly concerned about my seemingly 100,000 mosquito bites (or whatever else it might be) and provided me with remedies for them, the women brought me snacks. The group photo/video was a must.

The scenery here is beautiful, a lot of greenery.

As bananas are grown here, there is a variety of corresponding products; I tried the Banana Egg Rolls and Banana Cake. The cake is the favorite.
