Das war ja ein toller Tag! Schon anstrengend aber schön. So viele schaffen das auch wieder nicht. Und dann noch das hübsche Foto! Na wenn das kein Supertag ist!Pubblicato: 01.07.2019
The picture in the middle was taken by a young photographer from Denmark with her mobile phone yesterday. She was so excited about my relaxed way of sitting there and the special lighting conditions that she just took a picture of me. Then she showed it to me and asked if she could use it for a picture book about Oslo. I also thought it was a good picture and it was true, I was totally relaxed and enjoyed the sun and the harbor.
This morning I slept in and then went straight out. Through the harbor area Akar Brygge. A combination of old shipyard buildings and modern architecture. It reminds me of Hamburg, Sydney, and Tel Aviv. I took another look at the town hall and the Akershus fortress. Then on to the opera house. There I had a coffee. Then on to the Vigeland Park. The sculptor Vigeland has set up around 200 sculptures there. Back over Karl Johann's street past the parliament to the castle. But it was already 5 pm. Then I had mussels in a fish restaurant in the harbor, and I noticed that I was completely exhausted. Then I went to my beautiful apartment. Enjoyed the evening sun on my balcony. So, I still have the whole day tomorrow, as my train back to Trondheim only leaves at 11 pm. I will definitely spend part of my time in the Grüner Lokka district. The district is close to the central train station. And I absolutely have to watch the sunset from the opera house, I should be able to do that. The sun only sets at 10:43 pm, but behind the buildings in the harbor area. Which means it won't be visible anymore around 10:15 pm. Let's see, my train leaves at 11 pm.
