Monday, 17.8 - Marina Park Eberswalde

Actually, we wanted to visit the Niederfinow Boat Lift, but unfortunately, traveling by boat for sightseeing is not allowed. Since we couldn't leave the waiting area, we were parked and could only enter the Finow Canal after an hour.

But luckily, the first lock in the canal had a malfunction, which was fixed by the time we finally left the lift.

As a result, three lock keepers operated the locks and a lifting bridge that were seized in 1877. Impressive, also the narrow canal, very green, very idyllic, beautiful scenery!

And tomorrow we will continue in the lock chain!
