Tuesday, 18.8. - Marina Kingfisher

Registered for the lock service at half past nine, stood in front of the city lock at ten to twelve, but didn't get through until a quarter to twelve. Lock keeper sick, slow freighter in front of us, maintenance work? Various reasons were mentioned. Phew. Tough start to the boat day.

But then it went like clockwork, 3 locks, lifting bridge, another three locks.

In between, an hour of rain, and finally reached the quiet Marina Kingfisher at half past four, located in nature. Much to the dismay of the youthful crew members, swimming is prohibited due to contaminants in the form of wire in the water.

Ice cream and pizza could improve the mood a bit, and with a shower and game night, the balance was restored.
