Our alarm clock rang at 5:00 am as it was unfortunately time to leave the island. An hour later, the taxi picked us up and took us to the airport, from where we continued our journey to Ho Chi Minh. After a two-hour relaxed flight and a short ride on a local bus, we arrived at our hotel in Saigon. There, we packed our big backpacks in the lobby and went to the bakery that we already knew from our first visit to Saigon. Since our room was not ready yet, we spent about two hours in the bakery's café, sorting pictures and planning our next travels. When we finally could go to our room, we jumped into the shower and freshened up. After that, we headed to a taproom of the "Pasteur Street Brewing" brewery. Basically, a brewery bar where we chose a small selection of different craft beers and tried them. Then we walked to the Sheraton Hotel, where we decided to have a cocktail in the sky bar. Since we were already there at 6:00 pm to watch the sunset with a wonderful view, the bar was completely empty. So we could enjoy the view of Saigon in peace and observe how the lights of the city slowly lit up. To conclude our trip to Vietnam, we definitely wanted to try a hot pot. That's why we went back to our favorite local restaurant in Ho Chi Minh, where we could relax and enjoy our last evening in Vietnam.
