Hey everyone!
Today, to be honest, we overslept.... We only realized how late it was shortly before 10 o'clock and immediately set off. Tiziana wanted to get some very special shoes from a similarly special store for her mom. We reached the shop after about an hour's drive and everything went well. She got the desired shoes and Kevin and I were able to talk our way out of a fine with the parking attendant :). Everything was perfect! When Tiziana and Roman returned, we continued to a diving center. We had booked a dive for today! Together, we went out to sea on a boat and stopped at the diving spot. Kevin and I dived around a reef with a few others. We didn't really expect to see so many fish in the Mediterranean! We saw grouper, moray eels and unbelievably actually a small ray! We had a really great dive! The guide was also very pleasant: he asked every now and then if everything was okay, but let us dive as we wanted. Unfortunately, Tiziana had problems with equalizing the pressure and had to stop the trial dive. We were really sorry about that... But she wants to try again, which we think is really strong! Roman was able to complete the trial dive and did very well (we met him underwater) :). After the dive, we all went back to land and to our camper vans together. We drove for a little over two hours towards the north. There we found a restaurant... From the outside, it looked more like a snack bar at a rest stop, but since we all didn't look very fresh, this was more than fine. We all ordered pizza and then came the surprise: we unanimously decided that this was one of the best pizzas we have ever eaten! The crust was paper-thin and the toppings simply amazing! We were really happy with the "not so fancy, but really delicious" choice :).
We were invited for a drink by two locals and felt really bad that we chose a half liter of wine... That's why we offered them a shot as a thank you. They were really happy and joined us. Totally friendly, but... we actually wanted to leave... After a while, we were able to break free and start the last 20 minutes of the journey. Today, we are not by the sea, but we are told that the view here is amazing. We will see it tomorrow, because it is already 11 p.m. and relatively dark :)).
Now we are sitting outside a bit and enjoying the evening ;).
See you again tomorrow!
