Australia, New Zealand, half a year or a whole year, quitting my job, giving up my apartment, registering as unemployed, and wait, what about my health insurance....?
Okay, one thing at a time...
First, let me introduce myself... Hi, I'm Lena, 24 years old, and at the moment I feel stuck in my own hamster wheel. I actually quite like it here, if it weren't for my insatiable curiosity.
Is there more to life?
Is this normal and who gets to decide what's normal and what's not? Is there even such a thing as 'abnormal'?
I'm sure there is more out there. And I want to experience it to the fullest.
And there's a dream that won't leave my head. Taking a break for an indefinite period of time. Getting out of the daily routine and into an adventure.
So off to the other side of the world!
So Australia and New Zealand, that's already figured out. But what about the rest? Well, because it's currently quite chaotic, I thought I'd tidy up in my mind with the help of a blog.
Of course, I also want my family, friends, and acquaintances to be able to follow along where I am and what's coming next.
So as I mentioned before. I have a dream, a strong desire to travel, to go abroad without having to submit a vacation request. But what about my job, my apartment, my retirement, and above all, what about the gap in my resume?
Ridiculous, the things society dictates to us. Let's be honest, a job and an apartment don't provide security, and the gap in the resume? That's going to be the coolest!
