Today we drove through Lake Powell by chance. This is a reservoir with many houseboats and yachts. We only stayed for a short time.
We continued to Zion National Park. The lady at the entrance wanted to charge us USD 15.00 for a tunnel. At first we didn't understand why. But the Americans consider us an oversized vehicle. Since there is a tunnel in the park that is 13 feet high (we were 12 feet high), they had to stop the oncoming traffic for us. So that we could drive in the middle of the tunnel. We paid and arrived at the ominous tunnel. I don't think the Americans have ever been to Switzerland 🇨🇭 Switzerland is practically half tunnels 🤣 that was enough 10 times 🤣 a drama for nothing. That was the tunnel:
The view in the park was great.
Now we landed in St. George. From here it is about 2 hours to Las Vegas. We have a great RV park today. With a professional laundry room, pool and restaurants nearby. We have always stayed in an RV park except for 3 times. The costs range from $20 to $50. Our limit was always $40. That means you have your parking space with electrical connection (power), fresh water and wastewater. This is what it looks like when everything is connected:
All the connections, cables and hoses are provided by the rental company. That is part of the basic equipment.
The RV parks are always dependent on the owner and usually have the same layout: as close together as possible, so that as much space as possible can be used. But strangely enough, you never get in each other's way. An impression of today's RV park:
Let's see if we might stay here tomorrow as well. The pool is cool 😎
