Day 1 - Orlando - Tampa

We are back. It was a very exhausting Day 1 in Orlando. Our Plan B had to be put into action. That means all hotels were cancelled and new flights and hotels were booked. Our alternative destination will be the CAYMAN ISLANDS 🇰🇾. We will fly from Tampa on September 1, 2019. Our accommodation will be Margaritaville Beach Resort.

The residents here in Orlando are taking the hurricane very calmly. Probably because they experience this every year and Orlando is not directly on the coast 😊 or maybe it's because they have a completely different attitude towards life 🤣 Nevertheless, we have decided to choose the safe option, as every day on TV and on site there is something different. So it's better to be safe and enjoy our vacation.

If everything goes well, we will try to fly back to Orlando on Friday, September 6, 2019. Hopefully, the hurricane will be over by then and we really want to visit Disney Land and the Kennedy Space Center. We will see 😊

We picked up the rental car in Orlando and have already arrived in Tampa. Today we don't have much else planned. Just have something to eat and enjoy the evening in peace 😊
