I have been a mom for half a year now and have been traveling again for over two months.
I have decided to continue the backpacking life and take my little one with me. Can you travel with a baby?
For me, backpacking means everything should fit in a backpack.
Keeping it simple, so we have enough space for our big dreams. It was the challenge for me to continue this with a baby. Because with a baby, you often feel like you need a lot. And the possibilities are limited.
As you can see, traveling with a baby is going well, so far. It feels very natural to me. While I choose sweet places around the world where I have space and time for my 'important' things, the little one just lives with me.
And as a mom, you might worry quickly, here I am too busy with other things. :D
We have been in Bali for almost 2 weeks now.
Where I am sitting on the floor and looking out into the dark night. Still some sand from the beach on my feet.
Listening to the music of "Olly Murs", and my heart leaps while my feet sway to the beat.
What a life.
While I am moving around in the world, normal life still happens and the art of balancing family, job, and desires. And especially when being a mom, sometimes the everyday life can seem quite serious to me.
Honestly, the past few days I have been a bit stressed!
With education, writing applications, going from café to café for wifi, and the little one being rather restless.
Ugh.. how am I going to manage this?
'Waves come and go.'
Waves come and go, as do other things.
So I sit on the floor a little longer and relax to the music.
Letting the waves come to me.
