The Mein Schiff 6 from Tui Cruises set sail on her maiden voyage in June 2017. The Mein Schiff 6, measuring around 100,000 GT, was built at the Meyer-Werft in Turku, Finland. It has a length of 295 meters and a width of 36 meters, and offers space for nearly 2500 passengers on 14 decks. On board, there are 1267 cabins, 13 bars, 13 restaurants, 1 theater, a 1,800m2 fitness and spa area, a 25-meter pool, a shopping mall, a cooking studio, a studio where hologram shows are performed, a kids club, a youth club, a sports arena, a casino, a disco and much more.
Our cabin 8004 was located on deck 8 of the 13 passenger decks on the starboard side at the bow of the ship. Directly above us was the bridge. The cabin was bright, friendly and spacious. In the 17 sqm living area, we felt very comfortable and enjoyed sleeping with the balcony door open and the sound of the sea. The cabin was equipped with a double bed, a sofa, a writing and dressing table, as well as 2 chairs and a small table on the balcony.
