In Kuala Lumpur, we feel like we are transported to a different world. Nowhere else have we been surrounded by so many skyscrapers. Everything that can be done, is done in a high-rise building. These are like their own 'villages' or 'districts'. In one building, there were not only regular shops, but also a large roller coaster, a climbing gym, cinemas, restaurants, etc. It almost feels like we are in a sci-fi movie.
Our simple but functional accommodation is located in a parking garage. Our host is Japanese and a very dedicated man. Although we sleep on mattresses on the floor and have no windows, we have everything we need and can even use a kitchen.
Behind this car is our accommodation
The easiest way to get around the city is by the 'monorail' or taxi. On foot, it can sometimes be a bit challenging to navigate through the city because everything is actually designed for cars.
