It's that time again. The most beautiful time of the year begins - vacation time.

In 2018 we will be going to the USA again. This time we will be traveling the East Coast in 24 days with the starting/ending point in New York. As the saying goes, 'Never change a winning team'. So this year, we have decided to bring Sabrina's brother along again.

We will start on the 24th of May at 6:00 a.m. towards Copenhagen. In order to not have to get up so early, we will spend a night at the Airporthotel in Düsseldorf.

From there, we will continue directly to New York. Why the detour via Copenhagen? The price was unbeatable. 427.00 EUR per person round trip. Time difference to a non-stop flight is about 2 hours. So absolutely manageable. It also gives Marcel (Sabrina's brother) the opportunity to lose 2 boarding passes :D

We will land in New York on the 24th of May around 1 p.m. local time.

The money we saved on the flight was reinvested ;). As our starting hotel, we chose the Hilton at Times Square. It is very centrally located and will be our home for the first 4 days.

Of course, at $1400 for 4 days, it's not particularly cheap - but for New York, it can get much more expensive. Besides, you don't really treat yourself to much for your 30th birthday (well, okay, the birthday is already on the 23rd of May) ;D
