Helsinki / The fortress is being captured 😉

We slept until 9:00 am today. 😀 In our 'cell' [apartment in the hostel], we created our luxury breakfast. After fortifying ourselves, we went to the Rock Church. A very extraordinary church built into the rocks and very plain from the outside. From the marketplace, we took a boat trip to the fortress island of Soumenlinna. A guardian city shaped by three countries. First by Sweden, then by Russia, and since 1918, it has belonged to Finland. In the afternoon, we tried for the second time to visit the Uspenski Cathedral. Of course, it was closed on Mondays. We also visited the marketplace. In the evening, we had a delicious pizza 🍕 at Putte's Bar.
