The next 6 nights we will spend in the east of the beautiful island on the stunning Playa Bluff!
The hostel is located right on the coast - from here you have the best view,
our room is small but very cozy (while showering you can look directly into the jungle and with a bit of luck discover monkeys or sloths),
a sloth lives in the trees between the hostel and the sea and can be seen at least briefly every afternoon,
and otherwise we are lucky and have enough animals around us!
The Playa Bluff is a long beach, right in front of the jungle, there are hardly any other people to be seen and it is beautifully Caribbean!
You can walk for over an hour to the end of the beach without even meeting anyone...
Here in the east of the island there is absolutely nothing except a few accommodations, the nearest supermarket is in Bocas Town - 1.5 hours' walk (one way) away. Despite the long and rather difficult journey in the heat, Ronny takes it twice to supply us with food and drinks and collects a few island impressions along the way!
And even though we are very isolated here and don't do much due to the expensive prices for boat trips, the 6 nights go by incredibly fast!
