After sleeping for a few hours, I was awoken by a sudden jolt from the stewardess. She handed me a small cup of water. I saw that my parents, as well as Jan, were still sleeping. At that time, it was 2:30 am. I felt somewhat refreshed, but quickly noticed the back pain. The seating was not the best, but it was enough for a short nap. I continued watching my downloaded series "Taboo" and it captivated me for about an hour and a half. Shortly after I finished watching, the cabin lights came back on. Jan was startled a little because it suddenly became so bright. My parents finally woke up too. They slept the most, as usual (ON VACATION). Shortly after, we had a hearty breakfast. The butter was ice cold, but my mother had a trick up her sleeve, as always: "SILKE'S SUPER DUPER UNDERARM WARMER". Well, I definitely didn't want to try it.
Satisfied and slightly strengthened, we spent the last hour and a half in the metal tube.
FINALLY landed, it took a long time for us to collect our bags and go through customs. Shortly after, Hendrik played a little prank on my father during a phone call (in German, you would also say "verarscht"). Jan and he quickly bought a prepaid card. Now we have the best 4G network in almost all of Namibia.
Swiftly, we put the bags in the car and off we went. In front of our eyes, a landscape unfolded that we had only seen on television before. Savanna as far as the eye could see. When we passed through the security barriers of Finkenstein (the place where Hendrik lives), it didn't take long until we were at Hendrik's house. We unpacked some clothes and now just enjoyed the pool, chilled, and lived the high life for the rest of the day.
