Week 1 Ulm - Krems

Finally, it's starting! We're starting our tour in Ulm with beautiful weather. It's just fun to be back on the bike and experience the different landscapes. We're getting used to the heavy luggage and our bottoms to the saddle!

Along the way, we have nice encounters with other cyclists, like two funny 80-year-olds who impress us with their 80 km daily distance.

From Regensburg, the landscape is very diverse. The most beautiful routes are the Danube Breakthrough at Kelheim, the Schlögener Schlinge where the Danube makes a 180° loop, and the Wachau with its steep vineyards and many castles and charming villages.
