Let's go home: Vancouver - Calgary - London - Hamburg

Even the most beautiful journey must eventually come to an end...

After 4113 km by car and 14 accommodations (13x AirBnB, 1x Booking), we are returning our Dodge Ram (Eddi), sitting at Vancouver Airport and waiting for our flight back via Calgary, London to Hamburg. B

Since we have a bit of waiting time between our 3 flights, we are already planning something towards a photo book 😅
With a bit of delay, we take off in Vancouver and reach Calgary for a short stop. Next: London

Best lunch: homemade Deluxe salad on the back of our truck overlooking the Bow River
Best dinner: homemade shrimp stir-fry in Canmore
Best sweet: Nanaimo Bar (Chocolate cake: Caramel-Pecan) at Fickle Fig in North Saanich
Best vehicle: Dodge Ram (Eddi), which has survived both flat tires and a dead battery!

Most beautiful places: Squamish and Sicamous

Most beautiful hike: San Josef Bay on Vancouver Island
Longest/steepest hike: Sea to Sky (Squamish) and Woss Fire Lookout (Campbell River)
Most impressive nature: Takakkaw Falls

Best bathing location: Little Huson Cave in a cave

Best road moment: downhill towards Bella Coola ⛰️ with a bear on the road

Best animal moment: dolphin escorting our boat 🥰

Sweetest animal fan moment: Benny and the squirrels/chipmunks 🐿
