Almost two weeks ago, I actually went swimming in the ocean for the first time! Even though everyone told me that the water in Melbourne would never get warm, it was pleasant on that particular day. It's worth mentioning that it was already the 6th day of 35 degrees, so the water had enough time to warm up nicely. I spent this unforgettable day with my Australian family and Lisa. My first 'swimming action' in the water was with my Australian family, and Lisa took photos because she didn't want to go into the water. After about 10 minutes of splashing around, my host mother went to get Fish&Chips for all of us - then she went home with the little one (fortunately, she had the car with her - Lisa and I had our bikes). I really wanted to go back into the water because it was so nice and warm - but not alone. So I tried to convince Lisa, and I succeeded. She didn't have any swimwear or spare clothes with her. But since I had spare clothes with me because I was supposed to sleep at her place, I offered them to her so that she could go swimming in her clothes. After I confirmed several times that she could really have the clothes, we had a race into the water... of course, I stumbled and ended up in the water! Well, at least that went well. The water was warmer than outside (it was already 8:30 PM). We watched the sunset from the water - such an amazing feeling and a wonderful atmosphere. We left the water around 9 PM and headed home to Lisa's place with our bikes. It didn't take long before we both fell asleep, even though we had lots of plans for that evening....
